The Canteen is a micro food hall (sounds better than "small," doesn't it?) comprised of three food stalls -- TGM Bagel, Fred's Meat & Bread, and Yalla -- and your neighborhood bar, Square Bar, overlooking the plaza of the Centergy One building at Tech Square. All of the stalls at The Canteen are owned + operated by the team behind The General Muir (at Emory Point) and the original Fred's Meat & Bread and Yalla (at Krog Street Market).
Our idea behind The Canteen is to create a casual community hub that can be used by different folks in the neighborhood in different ways:  a bagel and Batdorf & Bronson coffee on the way to class, a smoothie and pastry while studying, a quick falafel lunch on the plaza with coworkers, a business meeting over coffee, a round of drinks with friends after work, a burger and a beer at dinner, a gathering of friends to watch the big game, the kick off of your weekend Saturday morning at TGM Bagel and the Sunday night cap at Square Bar.

The Canteen is NOW OPEN!

Please note upcoming holiday hours:

Come take in the lively atmosphere of an Atlanta United Match Day! Going to the game at Bobby Dodd? Stop by before or after the game; you can walk from here. Don't have tickets? Hang out here; we'll have the game on TV and Square Bar, Fred's, and Yalla open!

To access the parking deck, from Spring Street make a right across the street from MidCity Lofts (you'll see signage for LA Fitness), at Abercrombie Place. Follow the driveway to the parking deck on the right. From the parking deck either exit at the street, cross, and go up the stairs, following signage to Centergy One/Building 75. Or, exit the parking deck at Level 5, take a right out of the deck and cross the plaza toward 5th Street. The entrance to The Canteen will be on your left before you get to 5th Street.
*If you miss your turn for the parking deck in front of MidCity Lofts / LA Fitness, don't worry, it's an easy fix! Proceed to the next stoplight, which is 5th Street. Turn right onto 5th Street and proceed 1 block to Williams Street (one way street) and turn right again. Turn immediately right and the parking deck will now be on your left.
The parking deck requires a credit card for payment. There is also metered street parking on 5th Street (maximum 4 hours, enforced Monday-Saturday, Sunday and City holidays exempt); you must pay at the parking kiosk.

The Canteen is conveniently located a short walk (1/2 mile, 10 minutes) from both the Midtown and North Ave MARTA stations. From the Midtown station, the bright yellow (and free to all riders!) “Tech Trolley” even stops directly in front of our building (the Centergy Building). Please note that the Tech Trolley runs less frequently during the summer, so check the schedule here.

Take advantage of the Relay Bike Share hub right in front of our building. Pick up a bike from another Relay Bike Share hub (including either MARTA station) and ride to us!
